MISSION OF THE OFFROAD SUPERFANS:

"To Support Those who Support Offroad Racing!"

Website:

Provides the most vital information for the offroad racing fan by analyzing all the current information and bridging the many offroad racing venues.

We will give you the insider's scoop on what you need to know at each track - not just statistics and driving directions, but reviews of venues and useful answers to questions such as:  How much does beer cost?  What food options to they have?  Where should we sit to get the best view?  What about parking/camping?  What else should we check out while we are in the area?

Note: All things depicted on this website are genuine favorites of the offroad superfans.  Use this information and our recommendations at your own risk.  We make no warranties expressed or implied.  Therefore, if you get arrested for trying to shower in The Lucas Oil Car Wash, you're on your own!  Your comments and suggestions for improvements are welcome.

History of Offroad Superfans

2002-2003:

  • Brian first discovers offroad racing via conversation with Glen Krueger (Mark Krueger was driving Art Schmidt's Nissan backed Prolite).  Although Brian didn't have much of a clue about the sport at the time --he didn't realize history was being made at one of his first races in Antigo when Rhonda Konitzer won her first race in a stock truck --he was hooked.
  • Brother Nate and friend Mike were talked into going to the Brush Run at Crandon by Brian where they met up with members of the Dynomax Sportsman 2 Cheverlet driven by Mike Oberg.

2004-2005:

  • With the help of friends and "friends of friends", the core band of Superfans - Brian, Nate, Mike - began to support the Mike Oberg crew and Amsoil.
  • The Jason Noah bachelor party, Willard Wisconsin, makes a booming appearance for the Labor Day Crandon.
  • Camp Whoop-Ass makes "Dirty Nation" in Dirt Sports Magazine.

2006-2007:

  • The DJ and Big Screen Projector ideas come to life at fall Crandon by acquiring offroad racing footage.
  • The Superfans (Mike, Brian, and Nate) make a commitment to participate in EVERY ROUND of the inaugural 2007 WSORR season.
  • At Owatonna, Superfans run into an old school buddy, Nate (a.k.a. Nate-Dawg), who, it turns out, has been a dedicated Offroad Racing fan for many years.
  • Superfans meet Jackie Douglas at Owatanna when Mike Oberg was driving Scott Douglas's Pro-4.
  • Brian, Nate, and Mike attend Bark River, Owatanna, and Wheatland for the first time.
  • Circus tent is set up for Fall Crandon -- had the projector with offroad footage and the BIG GRILL.  Visited by Amsoil reps and Oberg pit crew at campsite.
  • Mike purchases radar gun to verify the speed of the "most dangerous turn in offroad racing" at Crandon.
  • Nitro gives announcers the speed gun to use -- when asked who it was from, the response was "The Amsoil Superteam Superfans."  The rest, they say, is history.
